On a roll with the polka dot rose, I thought I would try Elizabeth Helene Searle‘s pansies in some silk off-cuts my godmother picked up from the silk mill at Whitchurch. Just like recipes, I never can be told what to do and add some of my own touches, but the basic idea came from ‘fun to wear fabric flowers’.

The little pieces of silk corners left over from the flowers looked so pretty, I just had to take a photo (and I couldn’t bring myself to throw them out, although I have no idea how I will use them!).
